June 10—13  Week 2

OVERNIGHT CAMP: Camp Evergreen

This camp is one of the greatest exposures to the outdoors and Christ I’ve witnessed. They offer all the activities you would expect of a classic summer camp: archery, canoeing, marksmanship, horseback riding, swimming, hiking, crafts, etc. The amazing program is run by handpicked college students who have been extensively trained. From camp fires to having a snowball fight at “Christmas in July,” this place uses their wildest imagination to manifest the love of Christ through this awesome camp.

June 17—21 Week 3

OVERNIGHT CAMP: Camp Grace

The mission of Camp Grace is to transform the lives of urban underserved children and youth through grace during their overnight camps. They have found that getting our kids out of the city environment for extended overnight stays and showing them unconditional love and speaking into their lives is transformative. This beautiful place sits on 40 acres in Roberta, Ga! Outside of the many group outdoor games, they offer a staff highly trained in dealing with inner city children. They believe the relationship between kid and counselor is key in transformation. As a counselor they walk through each day coaching, teaching, loving and learning with their assigned cabin as walls break down and lives are changed. They figuratively become a tool for change/growth. These kids are student athletes at top colleges, from many different areas and races.

June 24—27  Week 4

LOCAL CAMP: Gods Farm / Stone Mountain

God's Farm is a 58-acre site just outside the Atlanta city limits that gives inner city youth ages 5 to 18 the opportunity to attend summer camp. This week they will be headed by Larry Teem, an Atlanta leader who has served inner city children for the past 25 years. God’s Farm exposes our kids to the countryside of Carrolton, Ga along with animals ranging from alpacas to sheep. This week is finished with a trip to Stone Mountain enjoying the hike and theme park!

June 29—July 2 Week 5

OVERNIGHT CAMP: PAWKids Takes Colorado

This week we will be visiting Angie Winn’s house in Estes Park, Colorado. This house sits on 9 acres of land in the mountains, with hiking trails backing up to the national forest! The kids will be exposed to the beautiful landscaping the mountains naturally provide and the perhaps some snow in the summer!

July 8th—12th Week 6

OVERNIGHT CAMP: Destin Florida /Danny Wuerffel and Desire Street

With the direct partnership of Danny Wuerffel, we will spend a week in Destin with friends of Desire Street. There we will be exposing them to the beach life! Not only the beach, but we have a small sailing trip that will give the kids a tour of Destin and its beautiful natural design.
