The Hope That Started It All

LaTonya G. Johnston, our founder & executive director, had a big vision for a children enrichment program because of her church Atlanta Westside. Inspired by the purpose of her church's mission to embody and preview the kingdom of God from Bankhead to Buckhead, this hope became our story.

To help children establish an awareness of who they are in relationship to God.

To provide a quality after-school enrichment program in a safe, loving, Christian environment where children can thrive and grow.

To provide families with various resources that will empower and encourage them while promoting Christian values, building stronger communities, and developing self-sufficiency.

I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ - Matthew 25:36-40
